In the dark.
In the moment that the clock stops,
turns back in the night.
In the moment that you stand
in a field,
under a sky that’s carried on long without you.
In that moment that you just
need a breath of air,
any air that was not breathed yesterday.
In that moment
you need to see the
stars turning once more,
to believe that not everything has stopped,
has stilled again,
that we have to hold our ear to the earth
to hear a heartbeat.

‘under a sky that’s carried on long without you.’ …… ‘any air that was not breathed yesterday.’
Such expansive and embracing imagery ❤

So grateful my friend. May the night sky keep turning for you, so you can trust in returning goodness.
