“So come to the pond, or the river of your imagination, or the harbour of your longing.  And put your lip to the world, and live your life.”
Mary Oliver

‘Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.”’
John 12:35

MY PRAYER
today is for lightness of step.  For flow, like a river.  For the life to swim in the direction that our dreams and vision would lead us.  If.  If we choose to shake off the shackles, of others opinions, of our own self-talk that tells us we cannot.  Today I pray for us confidence, courage.  That we might give ourselves the time, the voice, the generosity of spirit that we might give another.  “We are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”  Go conquer.  There are lands unexplored and undiscovered, both within and without us.

These are drawn from daily prayers and reflections I write my Chaplaincy colleagues.
