My Prayer today is insight. Insight to see Christ’s image in one another. Care enough to pay attention and re-state the good and beauty that we see, and to give solace, compassion and encouragement where it is needed. Advice can run off each other like water falling against a wall. Moral superiority will garner no followers, but love that comes from the heart changes hearts and minds. This is the love that Jesus had for us, and gave so generously, and it’s that love that we are called to give as his followers. Let us love others because of the love he first had for us, because it His love that reaffirms our worth, time and time again.
