I went and asked you, how you did it –
let go.
I think you said something like
it wasn’t something that you did
so much as surrendered to.
Not that choice was yours.
And in the surrendering
you discovered how,
choice can be something
over-rated.
That the big picture has always been
the one we never see.
So I go and ask myself, how do I do it –
let go.
And as though you haven’t gone
I hear you say,
you just fall in,
close your eyes,
open wide,
embrace what is at hand.
